Alix

Hello, I'm Alix — a caring, sunny photographer, resolutely in love with love!

My story

Who is behind Love Clic & See?

Passionate about it for as long as I can remember, and a professional photographer since 2015, I capture the moments that matter to you. I am fascinated by light and the way it sculpts a moment, your faces & your emotions. My work is a gentle blend of an artist's eye, editorial photography and a documentary sensibility.

Travelling. Discovering. Meeting people.

What has always moved me is travelling and discovering other people. I love those moments when we take the time to share, to talk, to make memories. Every encounter, every story, every family is unique and deserves to be told.

A few years ago, life reminded me brutally how fragile existence is. How precious the moments we share with the people we love really are. That realisation gave rise to a fear in me: watching memories fade with time.

Photography then became obvious — a therapy, a remedy against passing time. At first to hold on to the simple but priceless moments with the people close to me: I got into the habit of “collecting” those moments of happiness, of fixing them so I could live them again and again through an image. Then a question arose naturally: why not offer that gift to others?

For more than ten years now I have been lucky enough to live this calling. In every session, every reportage, I put a part of myself into your images. My sensitivity, my eye and my urge to capture what is truest: the emotions, the bonds, the raw and honest moments that tell your story. Because in the end, memories are the most precious thing we are left with.

A photographer: sensitive & passionate

I am the photographer with tears in her eyes during your wedding. The one who can barely hold back when your child gives their first cry. The one who marvels at the gentleness of a hand resting on a round belly, or at the look on a father-to-be's face as he sees his baby for the first time.

For a long time I believed that sensitivity was a flaw. I tried to hide it, to keep it in check. And yet — if we are not moved by love, by a life being born, by a family reunited, by the beauty of a moment… then what would move us?

Today I know that my sensitivity is the greatest strength of my work. It lets me see what sometimes escapes others: a look that lasts a second longer, a hand that holds a little tighter, a quiet tear, a held-back smile, a silent emotion.

I don't only photograph what can be seen. I photograph what is felt.

So yes… I do sometimes cry with you. Laugh with you. Hold my breath during the vows, a birth, a first glance. Because deep down I am never simply a spectator of your story: I live it beside you, with discretion, sincerity and a great deal of heart. And I firmly believe it is that shared emotion that gives rise to the truest images.

Before being a photographer, I am a woman, a partner and the mother of two little boys. They are my home port, my biggest bursts of laughter, and sometimes my finest lessons in life. Every day they remind me how fast time goes, and how much memories gain in value over the years.

“I photograph for them. And today, I am lucky enough to photograph for you too.”
